Negative Scanning (Black and White or Color):

Negatives are some of the most precious photographic memories you have. They're much more precious than prints. Negatives will usually produce much better scans with greater detail and less color shift.

Negatives require extremely gentle handling. Something as simple as identifying the right side to scan (i.e., the emulsion side) takes a trained eye.
